can I convert 'midi' to 'bin' files....more imfo?
I downloaded a bunch of what I thought were karoake files.
I loaded my power cd+g burner, then I draged and dropped midi and kar files which incidently had the appearence of rar files, into the cd+g window. A pop- up appeared telling me: 'only bin and cdg files are supported'. Have I downloaded a bunch of wusses. Maybe its me who is the dummy.

No you can't...
MIDI (musicial instrument digital interface) is a file format originally designed for playing external MIDI instruments (as in synths/drum machines etc) and was brought into the PC world to allow you to use your shoddy onboard sound... And of course to allow you to use wonderful sequencers like Fruity Loops....
CDG is a combined audio/graphics file.
No you cannot simply turn cheese into steak, sorry...
