Why is Catalyst Control Center telling me different GPU clock?
I have recently bought a Radeon HD 5670 which has a GPU clock of 775MHz and a memory clock of 1000MHz, but I overclocked the GPU clock a little to 800MHz. I just realized that at the bottom of the ATI Overdrive page it says...
Current Values:
GPU Clock: 400MHz
Memory Clock:1000MHz
Why is it saying 400MHz when it should be at 800MHz!
Keep in mind that the HD5670 underclocks itself to conserve power during 2D use, so this is probably what's happening.
Try playing a game in a window and keep the ATi overdrive page open to see if the GPU clock gets bumped back up to 800MHz while playing.
I hope this helps!
