How do you take the speaker covers off of the door speakers of a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo?
I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and I need to change out my front door speakers and I can't figure out how to take off the covers to get to the speakers without breaking them. I also need to know how to take off the dash covers for the 3" speakers as well. Any legitimate information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The speaker grilles are part of the door panel. The entire door panel needs to come off.
For the dash, they simply pop out. A plastic trim tool is helpful in prying up one edge without marring it.
